Slit Scanned Touch Sensing with Depth Camera

This research is processed with depth sensing camera (Kinect). Slit Scanning is one of method in visual processing and it can improve efficiency of vision based multi-touch system. Using this system, we can easily convert arbitrary surface to touching surface. Surfaces including over 100 inch surface, curved surface, out door surface and brick wall which are hard to adapt traditional touch system are changed to interactive surface with this system. This research is on going project and I now try to apply this system to top surface in vehicle  to improve car user interface.
